After six weeks of running it's going quite well, better than expected if I'm honest. I went from two miles up to four miles and each run hurt quite a lot. My legs are strong from the years of biking but my lungs struggled to keep up with my legs as the breathing is completely different to biking. Plus your body takes time to adjust to running as it's high impact. Anyhow the last run I did was another four miler and I've knocked five minutes off my time in two weeks. I'm now at 33 minutes for four miles and it will only continue to drop, in fact I expect it to drop quite a bit over the next couple of weeks. I'll see how it goes but I might move up to six miles soon so I'm quite happy with my progress. [Edit] Just remembered, I have also gone down a waist size and have virtually got rid of my love handles, in fact there is almost a six pack down there. So get running if you're tubby!

When the new bike comes it won't be long before I'm knocking out a 100 mile ride, I could probably do it tomorrow to be honest, at a steady pace.
I've yet to start my swim training, I was going to go today but I've woke up with a cold, Sod's law!
